Already sparked an idea in Part 1 or have a creative project in progress? Collective Brilliance Experience – Part 2 is designed to help you refine your vision, overcome obstacles, and develop the tools to bring your ideas to life in a meaningful way.
This guided, interactive series builds on the foundations of emergent strategy, evolutionary design, and collaborative creativity, offering structured yet flexible support to help you move from inspiration to action. Whether you attended Part 1 or are jumping in for the first time, you’ll find a welcoming, low-pressure space to explore, experiment, and strategize alongside fellow creatives.
Through hands-on activities, group discussions, and reflection, you’ll hone your ideas, strengthen your creative practice, and develop practical steps forward—all while fostering a sense of collaborative brilliance within the creative community.

Session 5: Finding Your Why
Test your ideas and assumptions around your why with structured feedback in a supportive environment.
Session 6: Purpose to Practice
Create plans with five core elements: purpose, principles, participants, structures and practices.
Session 7: Make Connections
Map informal connections and share ideas and resources to help build out each other project plans and next steps.
Session 8: Peer Consulting and Celebrating Progress
Reflect on what you’ve accomplished, share your wins, and set goals for continued growth.

About the Instructor
Bernadeta (Bernie) Baktashian joined Empire Arts Collective in 2022 and quickly became an integral part of the team, supporting inclusive performing arts through intentional collaboration and community effort. Bernie is on a mission to create spaces where art sparks connection and celebrates vulnerability, believing that every voice can contribute to a more inclusive and vibrant world.
As Director of Artistic Community Programming, Bernie loves reimagining how we create together, building artistic pathways that are co-created by the community, for the community. Through collaboration, creativity, and shared joy, she creates space for everyone to shine.
