What is Tiny Stage?
Coming up on September 30th, 2023 at 8pm
Tiny Stage is a unique opportunity for local performing artists to try out new material in a respectful environment in front of a live audience. Artists present short, 10-15 minute pieces and after the show, everyone receives a one-on-one critique from a panel of local artists.
Think of it like an open mic night, but more structured. You get to perform for an audience so you can see what feels right on stage. And because the lineup is pre-selected, you know you’ll be able to go up.
Why You Should Do It
We welcome people who are brand new to their art form as well as experienced artists who want to get feedback on work in progress.If selected, the Tiny Stage experience provides artists with:
- A guaranteed slot to test out your work in front of a live, supportive crowd
- A kind, constructive critique from a panel of other artists to help you push your performance to the next level
- A great opportunity to refine your work and meet other artists
Performance Guidelines
All performing arts are encouraged; stand-up comedy, spoken word, one-person show, performance art, singing, dance, you name it!
- Performances should be 10-15 minutes in length
- No nudity and no open flames, please
- Because of the nature of our space, we do ask that you prepare work that is not too technically demanding. We can provide basic sound (bluetooth speaker) and basic lighting.
How to Participate
We will be accepting proposals until 9/18/2023. To be considered for Tiny Stage, please submit your performance proposal below. There are a limited number of performance slots available. Proposals will be considered as they are submitted, so apply early!
DATES
Submission deadline:
9/18/23 or as soon as all spaces are full, whichever comes first.
Tech/run-through:
9/30/23 from 4pm-6pm. You must be present at the run-through in order to perform.
Performance:
9/30/23 at 8pm, with a call time of 7pm

You must be at least 18 to perform. Please let us know if you require any special accommodations and we’ll be happy to help.
COVID SAFETY REQUIREMENTS
All participants must be fully vaccinated and provide proof of vaccination (either vaccination card or digital record) on the day of audition at the door or via email.
