Main Stage
Full Spectrum Art
Theatre has always had the power to hold space for radical truth, yet many people rarely see their experiences centered onstage. We’re changing that.
This is our call to center LGBTQ+, BIPOC, disabled artists, women, and others who have had limited access to traditional arts spaces, onstage and backstage, by producing bold, heartfelt, and unapologetic work that reflects the people creating it.
Spectrum Stage brings together performers, directors, designers, and playwrights to tell stories rooted in lived experience. Through thoughtful casting, collaborative rehearsal processes, and community-rooted outreach, we aim to create theatrical experiences as joyful and complex as the people who make them.
Current Production
Stop Kiss by Diana Son
After Callie meets Sara, the two unexpectedly fall in love. Their first kiss provokes a violent attack that transforms their lives in a way they could never anticipate. An angry bystander attacks Sara in a violent hate-crime after which she falls into a coma. This heartfelt story is told out of chronological order as we watch the relationship between Callie and Sara at both before and after this horrific act.
