Stop Kiss

by Diana Son

March 27th - April 25th, 2026

Stop Kiss by Diana Son is a contemporary love story set in New York City. When Callie, a traffic reporter, befriends Sara, a schoolteacher newly arrived from the Midwest, their casual friendship slowly deepens into something more. Just as they begin to understand what that connection means, a violent act changes everything.

Told through interwoven timelines, the play moves between the fragile beginnings of love and the aftermath of trauma, revealing how small, ordinary moments can hold extraordinary weight. Stop Kiss explores intimacy, fear, courage, and the cost of being seen in a world that does not always make space for queer love.

CONTENT ADVISORY: This play includes themes of homophobic violence, discussion of a hate-motivated assault, strong language, and scenes related to injury and recovery.
