Sharks Barksley is Empire Arts Collective’s flagship short form improv group with performances monthly at STAB! Every first Saturday of the month at 9 PM and at the Empire Launchpad (upcoming dates include: 6/15/24, 8/17/24, 11/16/24).
We practice every Monday from 7-9 PM. This will be an ongoing commitment. Please note that performers should miss no more than one rehearsal per month on average to participate in this group.
Auditions will include warmups, exercises, short form games, etc. Experience with improv is preferred, but not mandatory.
REQUIREMENTS:
Bringing a resume and/or headshot is encouraged but not required. Please come dressed to move.
IMPORTANT INFO:
You must be at least 18 to audition. We are located in room 13, upstairs on floor 2, at Sierra 2 Center – 2791 24th St, Sacramento. The building is wheelchair accessible (including the bathrooms and access to the second floor). Please let us know if you require any accommodations ahead of time and we’ll be happy to help.
COVID SAFETY REQUIREMENTS:
All participants must be fully vaccinated and provide proof of vaccination (either vaccination card or digital record) on the day of audition at the door or via email.
